Peace of Mind. We aim to produce web sites compliant to all modern W3C standards. This is to ensure that the web sites built by us work in as many browser configurations as possible, and will continue to do so in the future. We take usability and accessibility seriously - making the web sites available to users of all needs, abilities and hardware - maximising the number of potential customers able to access your site.
You Own the Web site Files. We believe you should get what you pay for. Once you have made your final payment we will send you all files and artwork that you have been charged for. This means that you will have full rights and ownership of the files - subject to any third party copyright agreements - to do with as you please. Of course, we feel you will be happy with our service; however, once you have the files, you are free pass them on to another developer if that's your wish. We believe you should have that freedom and not be left in the situation some of our clients were before coming to us - facing the cost of a complete new site, when all they wanted were a few tweaks, simply because their former developers had not furnished them with their original files.
We Work for You and We Are Honest. We don't make outlandish claims such as "we can get your site on the first page of Google". Be wary of anyone making such a bold claim. These days search engines are very sophisticated in the way they rank pages against search criteria - giving web pages ratings based on a variety of measures - chief among these are how many other web sites link to the web site being ranked. The principal idea is that the more important web users consider a particular site, the more likely they'll be to put a link to that site on their own web pages. So, the more links to a web site, the better search engine ranking it gets. Obviously we can't simply order lots of people to link to your web site. However, there are things we can do to optimise your web site for search engines such as making them easy for search engines to catalogue all of the content, and using specific keywords that match your business to the specific words most often entered into a search engine when looking for a business like yours.
Your Own Dedicated Project Manager . Have you ever dealt with a company where you never speak to the same person twice? That's not how we do business. We believe you should have a single point of contact - someone who will take ownership of your web design project and make sure your requirements are met. Your point of contact's e-mail address will be given to you at the start of the project so you can communicate directly any amendments you wish to make to the project as it develops.
You Get to See the Work in Progress. We will provide you with a web address where you can see the project develop. If you see something you're unhappy with, or would like to work differently, you can get in touch with the Dedicated Project Manager. Changes implemented early in the development process require less work, saving both time and money - delivering your web site that much sooner.
We Provide Training. Some of our customers want sites they can update for themselves. For example, to add news articles or new product details. We provide systems so they can do this without the need for any technical knowledge - generally little more skill is required than it would take to log in to and use an e-mail service like hotmail. Should it be required we will provide you with training to ensure you are able to use all of the features of your new web site - and at no extra cost.
We are Affordable, Not "Cheap". If you are being offered a cheap web site, ask yourself why it's cheap. Many of these web sites are built from templates with your details 'shoe-horned' into the spaces provided. We don't believe that this is way that your business will stand-out from the crowd - you are more likely to blend in with your competition! Our designers develop web sites from scratch, providing something unique to your business.
